GHOSTBUSTERS - in the top right there seems to be the ghost of a dog! There also seem to be a lot of ectoplasm floating around too - spooky eh? Or is it my imagination?

I do believe you have captured some ghosts! Wow! I keep hoping that someday, while processing images, I will discover things in the pictures that were not visible when I shot them.
Knaresborough is beautiful, and the viaduct is VERY special. I also like that extremely interesting and unusual church with the needle-like Gothic windows. I have never seen anything quite like it. Your photograph captures it just right, I think. Those tall, narrow windows demand the craned-neck sort of viewpoint that you used (not that I have any particular bias about such things).
San Francisco, I regret to say, is going straight to the dogs. In two years time, nearly all of the buildings I have been documenting will be gone. As to the people who now live in them, I can't say what will happen to them. I do know that San Francisco will be even more unfriendly to the poor and forgotten than it has already become. It is so, so sad that the greed of a relative few has turned what used to be the most amazing city in America, possibly in the world, into a cold and increasingly barren playground for the wealthy. When the book I am preparing is a reality, it will be time for me to leave. If I wind up in England (and I very well might), will you have tea with me and show me the English countryside?
